Comprehensive Public Training Program (CPTP)
The Comprehensive Public Training Program is the state-funded training program for State Civil Service/Classified employees. Through the CPTP, LSU Classified employees are offered management development and supervisory training, and general application classes on topics such as computer software and writing skills.
How to Access CPTP Training(s)
Classified employees can access the CPTP training courses by visiting LaGov Learning. Learners will use their unique H ID number and password to login. Please be sure to include the “H” before your number.
Learners can request their H ID number by contacting hrmtraining@lsu.edu. Learners who forgot their password or need to create an initial password can do so by clicking “Forgot password?” on the LaGov Learning sign in webpage.
CPTP Mandatory Supervisory Training Requirements
Classified Employees that are supervisors are required to complete specific CPTP programs within a given timeframe. Please see the Minimum Supervisory Training Course Requirements for more information on required courses and timeframe.
