CR Winter Workshop

A six-hour workshop held on a Saturday in January or February at a host Coastal Roots school. Primary purpose is to review fall plantings and look ahead to spring plantings, review best practices in planting and raising seedlings, share classroom integration ideas, and distribute seedlings & soil.

CR Summer Institute

A two-day overnight workshop held in June at a location on or near the coast. Primary purpose is to learn about coastal restoration activities in Louisiana, participate in hands-on activities related to coastal issues and nursery production, and share classroom integration ideas.
