Would you like to cite us?
Below are suggestions for citation formats when referencing our specimens or digital data.
Most importantly include Herbarium acronym, Collector Name, and Collection Number. Consider using the barcode as a unique identifier. Here are examples:

Further, for herbaria that are integrated into the Shirley C. Tucker Herbarium at LSU, the acronym can be listed in the following format:
- LSU Shreveport specimens fully integrated into LSU: LSU(LSUS)
- Tulane University specimens maintained at LSU: NO(LSU) or NO
